Grilled lamb

Grilled lamb

A warning: This recipe is not suitable for vegetarians, but will delight every meat lover. First, delicate lamb ribs rest in an exotic flavored marinade and then they are grilled.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 kg lamb ribs
  • 500 ml of kefir or yogurt
  • 1 tbsp dried coriander
  • 1 tsp marjoram
  • 1 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • Salt
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Description

In the western nations, lamb is one of the types of meat that find their way into the cooking pots much less often than beef or pork. This is unfortunate because lamb meat can be incredibly tender and juicy if cooked properly. It contains high-quality protein, vitamins A, B and even some C and numerous minerals, including iron. Especially pregnant women and growing children need a lot of iron, which the body absorbs from meat very well.

Lamb comes from animals younger than one year old. The marinade for this meat provides exciting taste sensations. Kefir or yoghurt make it wonderfully tender. We state 30 minutes as time for marinating but you can leave the lamb in the marinade a lot longer, even overnight.
