The name of this salad is related to its shape: The salad is prepared in the form of a ring and sprinkled with plenty of pomegranate seeds.

There are many variatons of this recipe: The mayonnaise can be replaced by crème fraîche or natural yoghurt. Instead of shrimp you can take chicken fillet. You can also prepare a vegetarian version of it by replacing meat or seafood with vegetables such as boiled beetroot and potatoes.

1. Boil the carrots and grate them roughly.

2. Boil the eggs and grate them roughly.

3. Roughly grate the cheese.

4. Blanch and mince giant prawns.

5. Cut pineapple into small pieces.

6. Spread mayonnaise over the salad mould. Distribute cheese over it. Top it with another layer of mayonnaise.

7. Evenly spread the giant prawns. A thin layer of mayonnaise follows.

8. Distribute the carrots and cover once again with mayonnaise.

9. Add a layer of pineapple and spread mayonnaise over it.

10. Cover with grated eggs.

11. Cover with a layer of mayonnaise.

12. Refrigerate for 2 hours.

13. Carefully turn the salad mould over and place salad on the plate.

14. Decorate with pomegranate seeds. Serve cold.
