Orange Quark Cake

Ingredients

• 2 oranges
• 2 eggs
• 125 g sugar
• 100 ml oil
• 100 ml orange juice
• 150 g flour
• ½ package baking powder (alternatively: Russian Soda)
• 5 eggs
• 150 g sugar
• 750 g quark (Tworog)
• 200 g sour cream (Smetana)
• 1 package vanilla pudding powder
• 1 package clear glaze
• ¼ l freshly pressed orange juice
• 1 tablespoon sugar
• 1 tablespoon chopped pistachios
• Grease for the tin

Description

Pre-heat the oven to 200° and grease the tin. Thoroughly peel the oranges and cut into slices of about 5 mm. Whip the eggs with sugar until creamy. Add oil and juice. Quickly mix in flour and baking powder. Fill the dough into the springform and pre-bake in the oven (bottom, recirculating air 180°) for 12-15 min.
Whip eggs with sugar until creamy, add quark and sour cream. Stir in pudding powder well and distribute the mass on the base. Place orange slices on it and bake the cake for 40-45 min. Let it cool off.
Prepare glaze from glaze, orange juice and sugar and put on the cake. Wait until it becomes solid, then sprinkle on pistachios.
