Ingredients

  • 200 g apples
  • 3 kiwis
  • 2 bananas
  • 200 g apricots
  • 100 g forest blueberries
  • 200 ml Greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons of honey

Description

Fruit salad is a colourful and healthy dessert that you can enjoy at lunch or in the evening.

The selection of ingredients depends on the season. In the Soviet Union, fruit salad made from apples, bananas and mandarins was prepared in winter. In more affluent families, grapes were added to the salad. In summer you could prepare the fruit salad from any garden or wild berries. Yoghurt with lemon juice was often used as a dressing.

The main ingredients of a fruit salad used to be strawberries In many families they were eaten with sour cream and sugar.

Years later, many different kinds of apples have been added to the fruit salad.

1. Peel and cut banana.

2. Cut apples into slices to taste.

3. Peel kiwi and cut the apples into slices.

4. Core and quarter apricots.

5. Put all the ingredients and the blueberries in a salad bowl.

6. Mix yoghurt with honey.

7. Mix all ingredients and serve on serving plates.
