1. Cook beetroot for 1 hour. Peel and grate.

2. Peel the garlic.

3. Crush garlic in a mortar or a garlic press.

4. Crush walnuts with the garlic.

5. Pour boiling water over prunes and let them soak for 20 minutes.

6. Cut prunes into pieces.

7. Place beetroot into a salad bowl and stir.

8. Add garlic and walnuts.

9. Add prunes.

10. Season with salt.

11. Add sour cream.

12. Stir.

13. Serve cold.
